Vent Free Gas Logs

Safety pilot - Available on all vent free series.  The Manual Safety Pilot lighting method features a pilot valve assembly pre-installed on your burner. You then have a pilot light that you can keep lit giving you the ability to turn the log set on and off as many times as you want. The safety pilot kit has a safety mechanism built in which senses if the pilot light ever goes out and shuts off the gas supply. It also will shut off the gas supply if it senses a lack of oxygen as well. This option is available on both natural and propane (LP) gas.  This manual safety pilot kit allows for complete flame height control at the fireplace.  It has a knob to adjust the flame height for your personal preference.  It, uses no electricity.

On/Off Remote Ready - Highland Glow Models only.  Features a pilot valve assembly pre-installed on your burner. You then have a pilot light that you can keep lit giving you the ability to turn the log set on and off at the fireplace. Or with an optional remote control. You can not however adjust the flame height with the remote, that must be done at the fireplace. The safety pilot kit has a safety mechanism built in which senses if the pilot light ever goes out and shuts off the gas supply. It also will shut off the gas supply if it senses a lack of oxygen.

Flame control with remote - Cumberland Char models only.  The Variable Flame Remote lighting method features a pilot valve assembly pre-installed on your burner. You then have a pilot light that you can keep lit giving you the ability to turn the log set on and off as well as adjust the flame height at the fireplace, or with an optional remote control. The safety pilot kit has a safety mechanism built in which senses if the pilot light ever goes out and shuts off the gas supply. It also will shut off the gas supply if it senses a lack of oxygen  This option is available on both natural and propane (LP) gas.  It uses no electricity.
