G4 Vented Burner
I have been selling Peterson gas logs since 1978. This burner is
the same today as it was then. Simple and effective. It creates
dancing flames, nice glowing ember effect and
provides radiant heat into the room. Natural and L.P. gas. From
25,000 to 150,000 BTUs.
Includes: Glowing ember burner, custom grate,
glowing embers, sand (natural gas) or vermiculite (L.P. gas), bendable
connector kit with brass fittings for 1/2" line, grate clips, damper
clamp, and
installation instructions. Shipped for either natural or L.P. gas.

G45 Vented Burner
This burner came out just a few years ago, and is already
surpassing the G4 in sales. The additional front burner gives the set more
flame in front of the logs and a better looking glowing ember presence.

G46 Vented Burner
This patented Ribbon Burner Technology System
features a control valve with built in regulator and piezo ignition system.
The G46 burner system is one of the most advanced gas log burner systems on the
market. The gas valve is conveniently hidden in the rear of the burner
system with access to the control knob. The sleek design of this burner system
allows you to put a larger than normal set in your fireplace. With the
BTUs being from 40,000 to 65,000, is consumes less gas on natural gas than the
G4 and G45.. Available with factory installed on/off safety pilot kit or
millivolt pilot kit control with remote control. Shipped for either natural or L.P. gas.
A few log styles
are not compatible with the G46 burner system, on those, the G46 will not be
shown as an option.

Vented Gas Logs must be installed in a fireplace with
a fully functional chimney, to draft the smoke and combustion gases from
your home. These log sets have been available for over 50 years and are
still the most popular. Vented logs are the logs that most resemble a
realistic wood fire. They use an open damper, which limits heating
efficiency. Just like burning a wood fire, most heat escapes the chimney
and only a small amount is returned to your home. Vented log sets are
more flexible. Logs can be repositioned according to preference.
