FireLogs has chosen not to include the gas valve in the price of our vented G4 series log sets. This is because FireLogs does not want to limit you to a certain gas valve and some fireplaces are already piped for gas and no gas valve may be needed.
Some local building codes require a safety pilot on natural gas. All areas are require a safety pilot on propane gas. A On/Off Millivolt gas valve is considered a safety pilot. If unsure in your local area, we suggest ordering a safety pilot or contacting your building inspector or your gas utility company. Sorry, but FireLogs cannot keep with local codes in all areas.

No electricity is used, so they are not affected by power outages. Specify natural or propane gas when ordering.
